Combine a renowned architect with a breathtaking Lake Washington setting and this is the result.
1919 Killarney Way is masterpiece of modern design, a perfectly balanced floating oasis, a place of peace and solitude and a stately castle, all at the same time.
Steel is used throughout – exposed in interior spaces, overhead in ceilings, supporting cantilevered balconies. Brick offsets the cool strength of steel to add warmth and create cozy spaces. Wood covers much of the floors, caps railings, accents kitchens and baths. When closed, oversized glass doors blur the lines between in and out. When open, the lines are erased completely.
This design, these materials and the majestic shoreline of Lake Washington combine to create a space like no other – one that connects with something deep inside.
